Crow Cottage is a picture-postcard Lake District house, tucked away in the heart of Keswick in the Northern Lake District.

It's set in a spacious, secluded garden with parking for two cars, yet is only a two-minute walk to the shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants of Keswick town centre.

Inside you’ll discover a home that has been furnished and equipped to the highest standards while retaining lots of Victorian features throughout.

The cottage has three large bedrooms, each individually styled and each with views to Skiddaw and Latrigg. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and ensuite shower/toilet room, as well as a mezzanine with writing desk. The middle bedroom can be configured either as a twin bedroom or as a super-king bed. The third bedroom also features a king-size bed, so nobody has to draw the short straw. All the bedrooms, landing and stairs are carpeted in cosy Lakeland Herdwick wool.

The bathrooms have hot, powerful showers guaranteed to restore you from the day’s activities, and the main bath is perfect for a long soak.

The large, bright sitting room has ample seating to relax in front of the essential feature of any Lakeland stay – the log burning stove. And as with the other living areas in Crow Cottage, the lighting is all dimmable so you can create the perfect mood.

Unusually for a three bedroom holiday home, Crow Cottage has a second sitting room. This can seat three or four people and here you’ll find lots of books maps and games to pass the time. Both sitting rooms also have smart TVs with BBC iPlayer and other apps for premium streaming services which you can log into. The whole house benefits from BT Fibre Broadband fast wifi, and you’ll find DAB radios with Bluetooth in the main sitting room and kitchen.

The heart of any home is the kitchen and the same is true at Crow Cottage. Whether you are preparing sandwiches for a day on the hills or cooking Sunday lunch for a houseful on the range cooker, you’ll find everything you need.

From the kitchen there is a secure annex which exits to the side of the house. In here you’ll find lots of space to store bikes, boots and any other equipment. It’s also an excellent place to chill beer.
